| Vintage Ivory Gown, by Nadine This gown is in wonderful condition, but definitely has a "vintage" feel. Both the bodice and the skirt have an ivory acetate lining, with ivory chiffon overlays. The bodice is fully lined, and the bust can be enlarged by 1". A double chiffon ruffle trims the neckline. The skirt has three layers - a single layer of netting on the inside, than an ivory lining, and then the chiffon overskirt comprised of 17 tiers of chiffon ruffles, each edged in lace. This dress is delicate - in several areas repairs have been made to reattach the chiffon ruffles. It is shown over a 5-bone hoop, but would fit better over a 4-bone hoop. A ribbon can be added at the waist (the one shown is not included) - any color could be selected. |
