Red taffeta Colonial dress consists of three parts: the underskirt is made up of red taffeta with a raised diamond embroidery pattern, the overdress is made up of red taffeta with black ribbon trim and gathered white organdy at the cuffs and has a gathered white organdy collar, and the stomacher is made of black cotton cloth with gathered white organdy along the top. The stomacher attaches to the overdress with strips of velcro at each side which holds it in place. This is the perfect dress to give to your child along with a biography of Abigail Adams!
